Physiotherapist

Full and Part-Time Positions Available in Greater Toronto Area, and Hamilton, Ontario.

Key Areas of Responsibility: The AquaSonix Therapy Centers are positioned as an extension of the physician’s practice: the majority of new patients are doctor referrals, with the balance coming from advertising and patients referrals. As physiotherapist, you are the main contact for the doctors and insurance companies. Upon a patient’s first visit, you will perform a 30 minute assessment to confirm the location and severity of arthritis or the soft tissue injury. A treatment plan is then formulated with the patient’s input, and where applicable, submitted to the referring physician and the insurance provider.

Kinesiologists

Full and Part-Time Positions Available in Greater Toronto Area, and Hamilton, Ontario.

AquaSonix Therapy is an innovative treatment program that uses the combination of sound pressure waves and individualized low impact exercise in warm water pools. AquaSonix Therapy is indicated for the medical management of people with:

• Osteoarthritis
• Musculoskeletal Injuries
• Vehicle Accidents
• Work Related
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Fibromyalgia
• Low Back Pain
• Joint Replacement(s)
• Pre-operative Programs
• Post-operative Programs
• Muscular Strains and Stiffness
• Diminishing Flexibility
• Physical Limitations

Responsibilities

• Leads patients through a 45 minute therapy session.
• Assists in the completion of documents, medical questionnaires etc.
• Interacts with and educates patients
• Administrative duties

Requirements

• Kinesiology degree
• Professional, positive attitude, maturity
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Willing to participate in continuing education programs
• Preference to candidates with CPR, Life Saving, and First Aid certifications.
